Benjamin Nichols

Benjamin is a PhD student at Oregon State University. He earned a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Biology from Swansea University, Swansea Wales, UK and a Master of Science Degree in Entomology from University of Nebraska, Lincoln Nebraska. He has been working at the Baton Rouge Bee Lab in the Agricultural Research Service – Honey Bee Breeding, Genetics & Physiology Lab. His work focused on: manage multiple honeybee colonies, conduct choice assays and diet formulation, initiate and maintain caged bee experiments, euthanize and dissect specimens following ethical guidelines, data analsis and graphing with GraphPad Prism, and general lab maintenance Benjamin is the primary author of soon-to-be published work.
